Manuella Lanzetti Daher de Deus

She is currently a Productivity Fellow at CNPq (PQ-2), a Young Scientist of Our State (FAPERJ), Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Histology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (UFRJ), and a member of the Research Program in Pharmacology and Inflammation, also linked to ICB-UFRJ. She works in two Graduate Programs at UFRJ: Immunology and Inflammation, and Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry. She is an Adjunct Professor III at the Redox Biology Laboratory (Labio RedOx), where she conducts research primarily in the area of inflammation and oxidative stress in murine models of COPD and obesity, focusing on the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-1 (LRP1) pathway and synthetic or natural molecules with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant potential. She holds a degree in Nutrition from UERJ (2007), a Master’s degree (2009), and a PhD (2012) in Human and Experimental Biology from UERJ, with a sandwich doctorate at the Université de Rennes 1, France (2011). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Inflammation Laboratory at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (FIOCRUZ-2013).
